Updated Brief Development
The following images are the updated versions of the signage brief. I have changed the wood on the information sign and added a relevant background which is a photograph that I took on the site visit, I have also designed a master board which would be situated outside of the reception/the main entrance.

Prototype Stage Developments
The information signage, I have two examples at this prototype stage, the content of the design is very basic at the moment as it needs textures looking into but this is the type of format my sign is going to be in. It is going to be quite large and quite low to the ground but with a slight angle in order for any aged user to read it.

Safari Park Signage Research
I recently visited Woburn Safari Park and decided to do some research of the types of signage that is present in this type of environment. This environment would see audiences of all types such as staff, children and adults.
Below are some examples of the signage from this safari park.

Devon Signage Research
I recently visited Devon on holiday and I noticed the different signage systems and how they differ when they are by the sea. I have noticed that the colour schemes differ as they try to use a large amount of whites and blues when by the coast. Although this research isn't specific to the brief, it is still useful and very interesting to see the differences and similarities between the Wyre Forest research, for example, and then the coastal signage examples.
Below are some examples of signage that I came across whilst in Devon.

Wyre Forest Research
I recently visited the Wyre Forest Visitors Centre to complete some research as I feel that the signage from this site would be of a similar style as the brief that we have to do for this module. I took photographs of the different signage systems and information sign posts as well as the location that they are placed in. I took some influence and inspiration from these examples as I feel that they would be good for the site that we are working for as it is for a similar audience and in a similar location.
Below are different images showing examples of the directional and informational sign posts.
